Get off here for Rideau Centre mall access. Close to Farmboy.This underground station serves some of Ottawas best tourist attractions such as the Rideau Canal, the ByWard Market and many Embassies! Entrances are next to the Williams Street Plaza and in Rideau Center.

Dirty/disgusting seats. Never seen this on OC Transpo buses or even the train that goes to Greenboro station, but they all use the same seating material I think. Hope can be cleaned regularly or get better seating material.

Has issues where my card scanned, but gate didn't open.It then refused to let me scan my card again and had to jump the gate.Also perpetually smells like urinal cakes

First time I visited this station the escalator made me nauseous but it was fun nonetheless I also got lost in this station customer service was excellent helping me getting me back to where I was meant to be

Faster access to Rideau centre, when the train works is great.Downside, the Rideau LRT station smells like a dirty sewer, its dirty and cold.Getting off the platform is confusing for first timers. If you want to go to rideau or William street, it's 2 different escalators. If you don't know, you end up on either one, you have to go back down then up for the the other side.This station is really badly designed.Also, where are the garbage bins?

Although it smells... weird, Rideau station connects Ottawa with CF Rideau Center and the Byward Market. It is also relatively clean but needs some sort of air freshener!

It's been on for couple months already and still smells with urine every time you enter station... I even wonder now if it's made on purpose. Feels very unpleasant to be there.

The place smells of piss and stale beer there was used Kleenex all over including on the gates you need to pass threw to get to train
